Wellstone has changed a lot over the last ten years. It has increased in size, but it has also increased in population due to urbanization.

The population has increased by 2.1 million people. Even though the land area has increased by 7 km2, the population density has still increased. It has risen by 19%. To deal with the increases, the city has increased its housing. They have built 28 new apartment buildings. 2,600 new houses have also been built. The urbanization has meant that the infrastructure of the city needed to be upgraded. The government has built 19 new roads. This should have reduced congestion. They have also made 28 projects to upgrade the power grid, so everyone can get power.

Urbanization may still cause many problems in Wellstone. Air pollution from the increased number of vehicles on the streets will increase. More people will also cause more litter on the streets and in the parks. To deal with these problems, the government should build a new subway system.
