Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is an organization for Vietnamese youth from 15 to 30 years of age. The Union builds good character, love for the nation, and encourages good citizenship, soft skills and personal fitness.
The Union was founded on March 26 1931 by the beloved President Ho Chi Minh. It had different names over the years. One of its first names was ‘Vietnam Communist Youth Union’. In December 1976. it was officially named as it is called today: Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. However, people normally use the name The Youth Union’ for short.
The Youth Union, together with other vouth organizations such as the Youna Pioneers Organization, the Vietnam Youth Federation, the Vietnam Students Union, often hold social activities such as Helping the Handicapped, Cleaning the Environment. Green Slimmer Volunteers Campaign, and other similar movements. These activities aim to help the young develop their public awareness and form their personality.
Ever since the Union was founded, its aims and principles, established by President Ho Chi Minh, have been the guidelines for the young Vietnamese people of today and tomorrow.

Giống như Y & Y, Hướng đạo sinh Mỹ (BSA) cũng là một tổ chức thanh niên. Tô chức này giúp xây dựng tính cách và phái triển tư cách công dân và thế lực cá nhân tốt.
Hoạt động hướng đạo bắt đầu ờ Anh vào năm 1907. Hai năm sau, William Boyce, một thương gia người Mỹ bị lạc đường ở Luân Đôn. Một cậu bé đã giúp ông và cho biết cậu là một hướng đạo sinh. Cuộc gặp gỡ này đã dẫn dắt Hiệp hội hướng đạo xuyên Dại Tây Dương vào năm 1910.
Mặc dù hoạt động hướng đạo chỉ dành cho nam nhưng; có nhiều tổ chức tương tự tổ chức BSA mà nữ cũng có thể tham gia. Hiệp hội Nữ Hướng đạo và Tổ chức Lủa trại nam nữ sinh là hai tô chức ra đời vào năm 1910.
Vào năm 1994, ở Mỹ có đến 5.400.000 hướng đạo sinh. Bây giờ hoạt động hướng đạo được khắp thê giới biết đến. Hiệp hội Hướng đạo sinh cỏ hơn 25 triệu thành viên, làm cho nó trở thành tô chức thanh niên tình nguyện ìớn nhắt trên thế giới.
Mặc dù chương trình hướng đạo ciưi mỗi quốc gia có hơi khác nhau nhưng ba mục đích cùa nó được thiêt lập vào năm 1907 cho đến íhế ki 21 này vần giống nhau.
