(Dù sinh ra ở Anh nhưng anh ấy thông thạo tiếng Việt.)

- fluent + in (adj): thành thạo

- bilingual (adj): sử dụng được hai ngôn ngữ

=> be fluentin Vietnamese: thành thạo tiếng Việt

3. After you look up a word in the dictionary, remember to make an example with it.

(Sau khi tra một từ trong từ điển, hãy nhớ làm ví dụ với từ đó.)

- pick up (v): học ngôn ngữ mới

- look up (v): tra cứu

=> look up a word in the dictionary: tra cứu từ vựng trong từ điển

5. Remember to go over the words you have learnt in class.

(Hãy nhớ ôn lại những từ đã học trên lớp.)

- go + over (v): xem lại, ôn lại

- copy (v): chép lại

=> goover the words: ôn lại từ vựng

Stress in words ending in -ion and -ity

Words ending in -ion and -ity have stress on the syllable immediately before them.
